Interpretive programs are seldom “stand alone” exhibits. Odyssey considers of utmost importance the integration of their production into the dimensional and visual environments that surround them–that is to make them compatible with the typographic, graphic, and design elements of adjacent exhibitry. They also strive to assure that the ‘tone of voice’-the look and sound-of a production is seamless with its surroundings, and that it reflects the personality and core interests of the client and its key constituencies.

Odyssey Productions Inc. has been a full service film, video, and multimedia production company since 1973. They have specialized in producing interpretive programs for museums, visitor centers, zoos, and aquariums for over twenty years. Odyssey has produced programs for private institutions and government agencies at every level in teh U.S., national, regional, state, county, and tribal. They also produce national television documentary specials, commercials, and corporate films. Collaboration defines the creative process at Odyssey. Their client’s aims and objectives come first; their knowledge and insights are sought throughout the production process. Odyssey’s core philosophy is to include the client actively in the collaborative process–to assure that their message is being told, and their expectations are being met.

Productions for their clients have won a wide variety of awards including: numerous Cine Golden Eagles, Muse Awards, Tellys, NAI Interpretive Media Awards, Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival Finalists, U.S. Film and Video Festival Awards, and Gold Apple Awards.
