Join local historian, Nicholas LaPalm, for a presentation on the history and culture of the Indigenous Peoples of Northern Nevada. Beginning with the Great Basin Desert Archaic Period and ending with a look at the contemporary cultural practices of Paiute and Shoshone tribes, this program will seek to honor and explore the Native Peoples who have called northern Nevada home for over 10,000 years.
