Though this weekend’s programs are cancelled, we invite you to join us next weekend for the annual California Trail Days on Saturday, June 3 & Sunday, June 4 from 10am-4pm!
Outdoor interpretive program discussing the importance of fire-making on the California Trail, a look at the tools used, and a demonstration on starting a fire using flint and steel, utilizing techniques from the American frontier. Participants will then have the opportunity to cook and enjoy s’mores over the fire they helped build.
