Due to the forecasted thunderstorms and rain showers taking place this weekend, we will be cancelling the below programs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Though this weekend’s programs are cancelled, we invite you to join us next weekend for the annual California Trail Days on Saturday, June 3 & Sunday, June 4 from 10am-4pm! 

 

Outdoor interpretive program discussing the importance of fire-making on the California Trail, a look at the tools used, and a demonstration on starting a fire using flint and steel, utilizing techniques from the American frontier. Participants will then have the opportunity to cook and enjoy s’mores over the fire they helped build.
