Caryl has been a sculptor for the last thirty years working in various materials from fiberglass, clay to concrete. Bronze is her primary material. She has enjoyed working for and with natural history museums, exhibit companies, and has had many personal commissions. Much of her work has been creating scientific models as well as representational work and portraits of people and animals. Her bas-relief sculptures on the plaza and in front of the building are Caryl’s contribution to the California Trail Interpretive Center.
